Fundación Chol-Chol is a fair trade organization dedicated to the indigenous Mapuche communities in the rural Araucanía Region of Southern Chile. Mapuche women have a long tradition of weaving, using all-natural fibers and dyes. In 2012, I volunteered with Fundación Chol-Chol for five months to photograph the artisans and their craft.
